Reasons I Should Live in the South
  1. It is April 7th and there is still a couple feet of snow in my yard!
  2. It will be a very long time before I can begin to work on my garden
  3. We, those of us who live in NH, think that a 45 degree day is perfect weather for wearing shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops.
  4. Before all of my snow has even melted, the black flies will be out and waiting for me to work on my garden.
  5. Once my garden is planted the mosquitos will be waiting for me to tend to it.

Reasons I Should Live in a Farm House

1. See this tiny house? It is my house. Where 5 of us live.
2. My 12 year old son is 5'8" and growing quickly. He takes up a lot of space
3. My 12 year old son has a clan of 12 year old friends. They are all big kids, and they take up a lot of space.
4. And they make a lot of noise.
5. Each of my 3 children play an instrument. Instruments are loud. My husband plays the bongos. All 4 of them like to practice... Inside my tiny green home.
6. There are only 7 rooms in my tiny home. That is not enough to allow me to have a craft room (sad face), or even a space to take a corner to put my sewing machine.
7. We would really like a dog. (please see #'s 1, 2, and 3)
8. A farm house would mean plenty of spaces to put handmade quilts.
9. I like handmade quilts. I like making handmade quilts.
10. I would love to have chickens. And ducks. And a big garden. And a root cellar.
11. I am a country girl at heart. And I woud llook better in a farm house.

12. Imagine the bible study group I could host in a farm house!

Put it out there in the universe!

Which? The black flies or the farm house? Maybe you and Dad should sell your heouse, we'll sell ours and we can buy a farm house together! And have horses, and chickens, and a big garden. We could buy the farm in Webster!

I like the south because . . .

It's warmer sooner than up the north.
The gazebo is already set up ready for eating outside.
We've had pansies blooming all winter.
We don't have to shovel . . . well maybe once just because Dad wanted to.
I have a nice big house with room for everyone to visit.
They put the lounge chairs out at the pool today.
The people are really friendly and look after us.
We have cows almost in our backyard.
We have lots of kitties next door who look out the window at us.
We have dogs to pet and walk, then send home.
We have two babies on the street and another on the way.
Oh . . and did I tell you we're going to be 87 Sunday

Marcy - Putting it out there in the universe works! It did for me! I'm not kidding! You need to write what you want (you did that here), picture all you want in you mind, and post pictures of "your farmhouse" where you'll see it every day.

I did the same thing in 1984 - and everything I envisioned and wrote down has been given to me by God and the universe! Now, I live a life of gratitude. Happy to encourage others to BELIEVE!

I think it's wonderful to write our dreams and wishes down... and SHARE them! You just never know what might happen. :) Like the BIG package I found sitting on my dining room table tonight when I got home from work! Know anything about that? giggle SUCH TREASURES! Can't wait to start. And DREAM BIG, Marcy! You never know!
